President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, informing about an arrest warrant for Putin from the International Criminal Court and another meeting of the General Headquarters.

"I wish good health to all Ukrainians!

Today we have a significant decision by international justice. In a case with real prospects. The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Putin.

A historic decision, from which the historical responsibility will begin.

The leader of the state-terrorist and another official person of Russia have officially become suspects in a war crime. In the deportation of Ukrainian children — illegal movement of thousands of our children to the territory of the state-terrorist.

In criminal proceedings being investigated by our law enforcement, more than 16 thousand cases of forced deportation of Ukrainian children have already been recorded.

But the real total number of deported may be much higher.

To carry out such a criminal operation would not have been possible without an order from the highest leader of the state-terrorist.

Separating children from families, depriving them of any possibility to contact their relatives, hiding children on Russian territory, dispersing them across remote regions — all this is a clear state policy of Russia, state decisions and state evil. Which starts with the first official person in that state.

I am grateful to the team of Prosecutor Karim Khan and the International Criminal Court, everyone around the world who helps us fight for justice. Grateful for principledness and readiness to hold accountable those who are guilty.

So far we have managed to return slightly more than 300 children out of all who were forcibly taken from Ukraine. Clearly, we need to return everyone. Clearly, we will continue to do everything for this. For the return of every Ukrainian, every Ukrainian woman, and every one of our child. And for real accountability of all those guilty in this deportation — from the leader of the state-terrorist to all its executors.

I chaired a meeting today at the General Headquarters. Main attention — fighting on the Donbas: Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Vuhledar, Mariinka, Bilohorivka.

Main attention — to our soldiers, how to support our brigades, how to give them more strength, opportunities, more weapons and protection.

As always, I reported to the chief of staff, intelligence, commanders of sectors. Commander "Khortytsia" General Syrskyi, commander "Tavria" General Tarnavs'kyi. These operational groups are acting on the Donbas.

And I thank every soldier, every sergeant, every officer — everyone who acts at the front line, everyone whose endurance and bravery holds real defense. Thank you for resilience, strength, and that the state sees a perspective for our defensive operations, for further active actions.

I would like to especially highlight today the fighters of our special units.

Special Operations Forces — 8th Special Operations Regiment, thank you boys for your precise destruction of the enemy in the Bakhmut area and strengthening our defense precisely on this front, in Bakhmut.

Thank you to all our special operations forces who are defending Luhansk.

Special thanks — to our "sea cats", the Marine Special Operations Center, for successful actions in the south, for a significant "minus" for the enemy on the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia fronts, for that powerful response we give the occupier for his blows against our villages and towns.

Thank you to soldiers of the Security Service of Ukraine, all our defenders and defenders from the "Alpha" unit, including groups "White Wolves" and "Custo", from the 13th Military Counterintelligence Directorate of SBU — thank you all!

Thank you to fighters of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense — every soldier, every unit. Thank you to soldiers of our International Legion, everyone who feels a need to fight for freedom as much as Ukrainians do.

I spoke today with the Prime Minister of Slovakia. I thanked him for a new and strong package of defense support, including planes — MiGs, which will work for the security of both Ukraine and all of Europe. We agreed to continue our security dialogue — in Ukraine.

And by the way, we are already working on filling the next weeks, time that we will use to strengthen Ukraine, provide new weapons to our soldiers, and accelerate punishment — punishment of Russia for this war.

Glory to all who are now fighting for Ukraine!

Glory to all who help us protect our people!

Glory to Ukraine!»
