To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on February 22, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred sixty-fourth day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 59 artillery strikes with multiple rocket launchers. As a result of the criminal actions of Russian occupiers, civilian residential buildings were destroyed and damaged, and there are casualties among civilians.

There is a great danger of further Russian air and missile attacks on the entire territory of Ukraine.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations along the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Shakhtarsk directions.

Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of the villages of Kuzemivka and Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Fedorivka, Yagide, Berkhivka, Bakhmut, and Kurdyumivka in Donetsk.

On the Volyn, Polesie, Sever, and Slobozhansky directions, no signs of forming offensive groups by the enemy have been detected. Enemy shelling was experienced in the areas of the villages of Bachivsk, Bruski, Pavlivka, Vorozhba, and Hrabovske in Sumy Oblast, as well as more than 20 areas of villages in Kharkiv Oblast. Among them — Strilecha, Morokhovec, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Vovchansky Hutory, Volohivka, Budariki, Bologivka and Kolodyazne.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy carried out shelling of areas in the villages of Dvorichna, Grynykivka, Kotlyaryvka, Kupyansk, and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast; Stelmakhivka, Ivanivka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka, Dibrova, and Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Fedorivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut direction, areas of 21 villages were shelled. Among them — Rozdolvka, Vesele, Bilohorivka, Berkhivka, Bakhmut, Stupochki, Klyshchyvka, Ozaryanyvka and Toretsk.

On the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsky directions, enemy artillery shelled populated areas of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Perevalsk, Vodiane, Nevelske, Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Marinka, Bohoyavlenka, Novomykhailivka, Velika Novosyilka, Neskuchne, Prechystivka and Vuhledar.

On the Zaporizhzhya direction, areas of villages in Nosylka, Veremivka, and Novopil in Donetsk Oblast as well as Olhyvsk, Hulyaypole, Malynivka, Magdalynivka, Pavlivka, Stepeve, Kamianske, Novoandriyivka, Orikhiv, Charyvne, Novodanylivka and Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhya Oblast were affected by fire.

On the Kherson direction, the city of Kherson was hit by rocket artillery. There are casualties among civilians. Also, areas of 18 populated places were struck by enemy artillery fire. Among them — Mikhailivka, Dudchani, Milove, Tomarine, Shlyakhove, Berislav, Nikolayevka, Kozatske, Veselye, Antonivka and Veletsensk.

In the temporarily occupied part of Kherson Oblast, the enemy continues to forcibly register the population. Russian occupation forces, together with police, have strengthened checks at checkpoints and threaten to evacuate all citizens who do not receive a Russian passport starting from early March.

The aviation of the Defense Forces over the past day inflicted eight strikes on areas of enemy personnel and military equipment concentration and two strikes on anti-aircraft missile complexes. Our units of rocket forces and artillery hit two areas of enemy manpower concentration.
