To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on January 31, 2023 regarding Russia's invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The 342nd day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

The Russian Federation continues its full-scale military aggression against Ukraine.

The enemy does not stop destroying critical infrastructure of our state, delivering missile strikes and artillery shelling civilian objects and housing of the peaceful population.

Thus, over the past day, the opponent carried out three air raids and four missile strikes. Conducted more than 60 shelling with multiple rocket launchers, including on residential buildings in the cities of Kherson and Ochakiv. There are casualties among civilians.

The threat of aerial and missile strikes remains high across the entire territory of Ukraine.

The enemy continues offensive actions on the Lyman and Bakhmut axes, suffering heavy losses. Conducts unsuccessful offensive operations on the Avdiivka and Novopavlivka axes. On the Kupyansk and Zaporizhzhia axes — defending previously captured positions. There is noted a lack of trust among personnel units of the Russian Federation in decisions made by their military-political leadership, as well as fatigue from the intensity of combat operations.

Over the past day, subunits of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of populated places Novoselivske, Bihorivka Luhansk region and Yamopolivka, Spirene, Krasna Gora, Paraskevivka, Bakhmut, Klischyivka, Ivanivske, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Perevalskiy, and Volodar on Donetsk.

On the Volyn, Polesie, Sever, and Slobozhansky axes there are no significant changes in the situation. No offensive groupings of the enemy have been detected. Preparations for units of the enemy continue on the training grounds of the Belarusian republic.

Shelling by Russian military forces of populated places near state borders continues, causing losses among civilian population and destruction of private property. The occupiers shelled areas around Hrynyvka, Hutynetska and Krasniy Khutor in Chernihiv region; Sopich, Volfinne, Shpil, Basyvka, Zapsillya, Mesienevka, Velyka Pysaryvka in Sumy region as well as Veterinarnoye, Glybokoye, Strilechya, Borisivka, Neskuchoye, Staritsa, Ogireve, Verkhnya Pysaryvka, Volchansky, Budarki, Novomlynsky and Dvorichna in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk axis, Sinkyvka, Kupyansk, Ivanivka, Kislivka and Kotlyarivka in Kharkiv region as well as Novoselivske and Andriyivka on Luhansk territory suffered from enemy fire.

On the Lyman axis, Novoyegorivka, Makieyevka, Nevskiy, Chernopyopovka, Krymyna in Luhansk region as well as Yamopolivka, Dybrova, Yampil and Spirene on Donetsk territory were shelled.

On the Bakhmut axis, Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene, Bihorivka, Veselye, Krasna Gora, Paraskevivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Klischyivka, Ozaryanyovka, Druzhba, Ivanopillya and New York in Donetsk region were affected by enemy fire.

On the Avdiivka axis, Berdychi, Tonennye, Severne, Vodyane, Krasnogorivka, Georgiyevka, Mariinka and Pobeda in Donetsk region were hit by enemy tank, mortar and artillery fire.

On the Novopavlivka axis, Vodyane, Bohoyavlennya, Nova Ukrayina, Volodar, Mykilske Dachi and Neskuchoye in Donetsk region were shelled.

On the Zaporizhzhia axis, Veremivka and Novopil on Donetsk territory as well as Olhyvsky, Bihorija, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilyvka, Orykhiv, Kamianske and Novoselivka in Zaporizhzhia region suffered. In total — over 20 populated places.

On the Kherson axis, areas around Oradokamyanka, Ivanivka, Tokaryvka, Antonivka, Perevalskiy and Kherson were shelled with multiple rocket launchers, artillery and mortars.

The enemy continues to suffer heavy losses and has started using additional civilian medical facilities for accommodating wounded Russian invaders. In the city of Luhansk on the territory of a maternity hospital No. 3 and a maternity house of the regional hospital, occupiers have set up a «field hospital», where they treat Russian military personnel. Due to the use by the enemy of two maternity houses for treating wounded Russians in the city, only deliveries can be made at Luhansk Regional Perinatal Center, where there is a critical shortage of space and unfavorable conditions are created for childbirth.

The aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out four strikes against enemy concentrations over the day, while rocket units and artillery hit three command points, four concentration areas and two ammunition depots of the occupiers.
