President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the critical importance of restoring our infrastructure and the social situation in regions.

"I wish health to all dear Ukrainians!

Today I am on a trip: first — Mykolaiv, then — Odesa.

Meetings and talks with the Danish delegation — with Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, representatives of coalition parties. Specifically — with Denmark's defense minister and foreign affairs minister. They are part of the delegation.

We spoke in great detail about Ukraine's defense needs. About what can help us liberate our territory — our south, our east. And about what we need in the context of rebuilding Ukraine.

Mykolaiv is a city over whose reconstruction Denmark has taken charge. This involves projects in the energy sector, infrastructure, social sphere, and production.

Especially important for Mykolaiv — cleaning water, restoring normal water supply, which was destroyed by Russian occupiers. There is already a corresponding project involving Denmark, whose implementation has begun.

But much more needs to be done — both for reconstruction and for modernizing what forms the basis of our people's lives.

Today in Mykolaiv we visited a hospital where our soldiers are saved after being injured. We thanked doctors, nurses. We supported our defenders.

This hospital is just one example of how modernization and reconstruction are critically important.

And I want to thank Denmark, personally Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and other representatives of the Danish government for their readiness to help Ukraine.

For their readiness to support us until full territorial integrity is restored and everything necessary for life is rebuilt.

This is the fundamental meaning of our cooperation with partners.

Russian terror must lose everywhere, in everything — on the battlefield and in ensuring that no ruins remain in our country so we can restore everything and thus prove that freedom is stronger.

Today in Odesa we discussed our security and humanitarian initiatives quite extensively.

Specifically, Denmark supported our Black Sea Export Initiative and joined the Grain from Ukraine program.

The fact that we have made significant progress on food security shows that we can achieve progress on other points of our peace formula as well. Today we discussed what exactly Denmark's role could be in implementing the peace formula points.

Of course, I thanked Denmark for its defense support, for significantly strengthening our artillery, and for being ready to join a tank coalition. We talked about what else we can do today to strengthen Ukrainian soldiers.

We are also coordinating our actions to strengthen sanctions against Russia. And I called on Denmark to join our efforts in protecting sports structures and the international Olympic movement from discreditation through attempts by certain representatives of sports bureaucracy to allow Russian athletes into international competitions.

Of course, special attention was paid to the internal situation in Mykolaiv and Odesa regions — held relevant meetings with military and regional leadership.

This is not just about security — although first and foremost it's about the security of our south. But also about the social situation in regions, about available economic opportunities.

And by the way, I thank all business owners, employers in Mykolaiv, Odesa, other communities who are maintaining jobs and paying salaries and taxes despite everything. This is your specific and weighty contribution to our country's ability to defend itself.

Our task of standing up — this is a joint task. The task of defense forces and security services, the entire state, business, and every person who works for Ukraine's victory.

Thank you to everyone fighting for Ukraine! Thank you to everyone helping! Thank you to everyone defending Odesa, Mykolaiv, our whole south and all of Ukraine!

Glory to Ukraine!"
