Note to attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on January 15, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred and sixty-sixth day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out three air strikes and 57 missile attacks, conducted 69 shelling operations with multiple rocket launchers, including civilian infrastructure.

To carry out missile strikes on the capital and other populated areas of Ukraine, the enemy used anti-aircraft guided missiles S-300/S-400. Also, it launched 41 launches of cruise missiles from air and sea-based systems as well as guided aerial rockets, which are high-precision weapons. Twenty-six missiles were destroyed by our defenders.

The threat of further air and missile strikes by Russian occupiers remains throughout the territory of Ukraine.

The enemy does not abandon its intentions to completely capture the Donetsk region, concentrating main efforts on offensive actions on the Bakhmut direction. Also, it is conducting offensives on the Lyman, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions, while on the Kupyansk direction — it attempts to improve tactical positions.

Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of populated places Makieivka and Bihorivka in Luhansk region and Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirne, Bihorivka, Syl, Solodar, Bakhmut, Klichyivka, Novobakhmutivka, Kragnoryivka, Vodyane, Mayorisk and Mariinka in Donetsk region during the past day.

On the Volynian, Polesian, Severian and Slobozhansky directions — no significant changes, no offensive groupings of the enemy were detected.

Mine and artillery shelling was experienced by areas of populated places Vovkivka and Kynratiivka in Sumy region as well as Veterinaryne, Starytsia, Ohirceve, Hatiche, Vovchanske, Budarki, Strilecha, Terneva, Chugunivka, Khatni and Topoli on the Kharkiv land.

On the Kupyansk direction, areas of populated places Dvorychna, Zapadne, Synkivka, Orlyanka, Kotliarivka, Beresteve and Krokhmalne in Kharkiv region as well as Novoselivske and Stehlakhivka on the Luhansk land were shelled.

On the Lyman direction, Makieivka, Ploschanaka, Nevshe, Krymyna, Dibrova and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk region fell under fire.

On the Bakhmut direction, Spirene, Viyimka, Bihorivka, Rozdolivka, Solodar, Paraskoviyivka, Bakhmut, Veselye, Druzhba and Pivnichne in Donetsk region were hit by fire.

On the Avdiivka direction, enemy shelled areas of populated places Kragnoryivka, Veselye, Avdiivka, Georgiyivka, Mariinka, Berdychi, Vodyane and Novomikhailivka in Donetsk region.

On the Novopavlivka direction, Vuhledar, Prechystyvka, Zolota Niva and Velika Novosilka in Donetsk region were shelled.

On the Zaporizhzhia direction, Malynivka, Hulyaypole, Dorozhnyanka, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Bihor'ya, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhyv, Novandriyivka, Stepeve and Plavni in Zaporizhzhia region suffered from enemy fire.

On the Kherson direction, Kherson and Antonivka in Kherson region as well as Dmitrivka on Mykolaiv land were shelled with rocket and field artillery. Civilians have been injured.

The enemy continues to suffer losses daily in manpower. Thus, on January 12 along the Starobilsk direction of Luhansk region, evacuation was carried out of about 50 wounded personnel of the enemy who were operating near Svatove.

According to available information, as of January 12 in one of the tank battalions of the 26th Tank Regiment that is participating in combat operations on the Kupyansk direction, only ten units of T-80BV tanks remained operational. The rest were either destroyed or taken out of service. In manpower, about thirty soldiers remain.

Our aviation carried out five strikes against areas where enemy forces are concentrated during the past day. Also, a drone of type "Orlan-10" was shot down.

Units of rocket troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces simultaneously struck two command points, nine areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment, an ammunition depot as well as an enemy radio-electronic warfare station.
