Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred twenty-fifth day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

By striking populated areas, the enemy continues to destroy infrastructure and civilian housing, thereby violating international humanitarian law, laws, and customs of war.

During the past day, the adversary carried out 15 air strikes and five missile attacks, two of which were on civilian infrastructure in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. Conducted over 95 artillery shelling, including on Kherson.

The danger of air and missile strikes has not disappeared anywhere in Ukraine's territory. We urge you to heed the air raid sirens.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to seize Donetsk region within administrative boundaries. Continues advancing on the Bakhmut direction.

On the Avdiivka direction, it also carries out unsuccessful offensive actions. On Kupyansk and Lyman directions — does not give up attempts to improve tactical positions.

During the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of populated places Ploschanka, Bihorivka, and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk region, as well as Rozdolivka, Syl, Krasna Gora, Bakhmut, Klichyivka, Vodyane, Kreminna, Pobeda, Mayorshchyna, Mariinka, and Velika Novosilka in Donetsk.

On the Volyn, Polissya, Northern, and Slobozhansky directions no enemy offensive groups were detected. At the same time, areas of populated places Mikhailivka and Yanzhulivka in Chernihiv region; Popivka, Yastrybshchyna, Studenok, and Pavlivka — Sumy region; Ogireve, Vovchan, Budarki, Mali Prohody, Zelenye, Neskuchnoe, Strilecha, Terneva, Bely Kolyadyz, Bogoliubivka, Dvorichna, and Hryhorivka in Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy shelling.

On the Kupyansk direction, the enemy shelled areas of populated places Vilschan, Kupyansk, Orlyanka, Kislivka, Petro-Pavlovka, Krokhmalne, Tabayivka, and Berestove in Kharkiv region as well as Stehlomakhivka in Luhansk.

On the Lyman direction, Makieyevka, Nevskoye, and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk were shelled.

On the Bakhmut direction, Spirene, Bihorivka, Rozdolivka, Yakovlivka, Solydar, Krasna Gora, Bakhmut, Klichyivka, Bila Hora, Verkhnyokamyanske, Veselo, Kurdiumivka, Druzhba, and Pivnichne in Donetsk were subjected to artillery fire.

On the Avdiivka direction, enemy fire was recorded on Krasnogorivtsi, Avdiivka, Georgiyivka, Mariynycha, Berdychy, Vodyane, and Novomikhailivka in Donetsk.

On the Novopavlivsky direction, Volhledar, Veremivka, and Zolota Niva in Donetsk were hit by artillery fire.

On the Zaporizhzhia direction, enemy carried out tank shelling, mortar, cannon, and rocket artillery strikes on areas of populated places Vilene Pole in Donetsk; Hulyaypole, Dorozhnyanka, Zaliznyane, Hulyaypole, Shevchenko, Charyvne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orihiv, Kamianske, Zelenyi Hai, and Malynivka in Zaporizhzhia.

On the Kherson direction, Golota Balka, Hryhorivka, Lvove, Sadove, and Kherson were shelled.

Occupants are strengthening counter-sabotage and reconnaissance measures on temporarily occupied territories. In particular, in the populated place Velika Lepetihykhra, Kherson region, selective checks of phones among local residents for presence of photos and videos of Russian military equipment are being conducted. As of January 12, 2023, three civilians were detained and taken to an unknown destination.

Ukrainian aviation delivered nine strikes on areas of enemy concentration, while units of rocket forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit two command points, eight areas of live force concentration, a ZSU complex, three ammunition depots, as well as two other important targets of the adversary during the past day.
