President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, informing about the strengthening resolve of partners to increase weapons supplies for our country and about the course of a difficult battle in Donetsk.

"I wish health to all dear Ukrainians!

Today, several stages of our diplomatic marathon took place.

I spoke with Ms. Čaputová, President of Slovakia. In detail about our defense cooperation and the diplomatic initiatives planned by us in Europe for the near future. Thank you to Slovakia for supporting Ukraine's interests and all of Europe's.

Also held talks with Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama. As always, I heard understanding of our needs and the Ukrainian position.

Overall, thanks to this week's negotiations, we have significantly strengthened partners' resolve to increase weapons supplies for Ukraine. And we are working maximally so that this is reflected in decisions at the upcoming 'Ramstein' meeting, a meeting of defense ministers scheduled for the second half of January.

We are also preparing for Ukraine's participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos. This year, the traditional economic theme of the forum will clearly give way to security issues. And it is important for us that there be an effective and clear Ukrainian response to every question from the world about security. There will be.

Participated in a special solemn session of the Lithuanian Seimas. Lithuania celebrated Defender of Freedom Day – the anniversary of January events in 1991, when people defended their country's independence from Moscow's attempts to retain control over Lithuania.

And today's session was very symbolic and emotional. I thanked our Lithuanian brothers for all their actions supporting Ukraine and our fight for freedom and for all their words about the heroism of our people, which will be heard in Lithuania. Today it was clearly felt one of our greatest achievements since February 24th: the context of European freedom, the context of European integration is simply impossible to imagine without Ukraine now. The completeness of Europe – this also includes the completeness of integration with Ukraine. We will do everything to materialize this in concrete decisions by the European community.

Of course, today, as every day, I am constantly in touch with our commanders, intelligence leaders, special services.

A difficult battle for Donetsk is ongoing, a battle for Bakhmut and Soledar, for Kreminna, for other cities and villages of the eastern part of our country continues. Although the enemy has concentrated its largest forces precisely on this axis, our soldiers – Armed Forces of Ukraine, all defense and security forces – are defending the state.

I thank every soldier, sergeant, battalion officer, and other military unit officers who bravely and steadfastly fulfill their assigned tasks!

I thank the Kraken detachment fighters for their decisive actions in destroying the enemy around Soledar! I thank the International Legion of GUR MOD and the Shaman detachment soldiers who courageously defend Bakhmut!

324 days into a full-scale war, but how much has changed for Russia... They are already fighting among themselves over who gets credit for some tactical advances. This is a clear signal of failure to the enemy. And this is another incentive for us all to put more pressure on the occupier and inflict greater losses on the enemy. Thank you to everyone who ensures this both at the front lines and on all our other fronts.

That's why today I want to also honor the staff of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service. Those who work mostly unnoticed. And about whom little is spoken. But they actually bring very important decisions for Ukraine, for our defenders. Thank you for this!

Thank you to everyone in the State Security Service whose results in fighting, especially against collaborators and saboteurs, society sees.

Every step of the state in national defense is meticulously prepared, which gives us legitimate and just results. It strengthens our independence in all its aspects. I thank you for this!

I thank everyone who works towards the victory of our country!

Glory to our soldiers!

Glory to Ukraine!"
