President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the situation on the front lines in Donbas and the complex challenges in energy and infrastructure.

"I wish you good health, dear Ukrainians!

A brief report for today — another day of our resistance in yet another week.

First — the front. Bakhmut, Kreminna and other directions on Donbas, which require maximum effort and concentration now.

The situation there is difficult, painful. The occupiers are using all available resources — significant resources — to try to make any advancement.

And I thank all our boys who stand on the positions, hold firm, and still find ways not only to lose nothing but also to push back the occupiers, to "minus" them.

I want to highlight today the 10th Separate Mountain-Storm Brigade for capturing enemy soldiers in Donetsk. This is very important. It will give us the opportunity to free more Ukrainians.

Also, I would like to commend the 80th and 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigades for successfully destroying enemy forces on the Lyman axis. Well done, boys! The more occupiers lose, the more time we all gain for Ukraine.

Second — this is energy.

I want to thank everyone working in energy enterprises and repair teams who managed to provide people with more power over the weekend during Holy Evening and Christmas.

Of course, shortages persist. Power outages continue. As of this evening, nearly 9 million people are without power across Ukraine. But the number and duration of outages is gradually decreasing. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.

Today I held a special meeting with government officials regarding the situation in energy and infrastructure. We are preparing for next year — not just winter months. There are threats we need to eliminate, steps that must be taken. And the state will certainly take them.

Third point — I held an expanded meeting today regarding the outcomes of my visit to the US and the implementation of agreements.

We will not waste time. Everything agreed upon in Washington, we will implement quickly as much as possible.

And one more thing. Today I spoke with the Prime Minister of India. Next year, India will be presiding over the "G20". I wished Mr. Modi a fruitful presidency, not just for someone in particular but for everyone around the world who values peace.

India can be more active in efforts to end aggression, so I hope that next year we will be able to do more together for global stability.

Thank you to all those working for Ukraine and not looking at whether it's a holiday or weekend or weekday! Thank you to everyone fighting for Ukraine!

Thank you to everyone helping our country!

And please, do not forget that you need to be prepared for Russian missile attacks or provocations. The PPO is preparing, the state is preparing, and each person needs to prepare as well. Please pay attention to sirens.

Glory to Ukraine!"
