Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on December 26, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred and sixth day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out one air raid and five missile strikes, conducted over 40 artillery attacks from multiple rocket launchers.

Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks by the occupiers in the areas of the populated places Novoselyvsk, Stelmakhivka, Ploschanokha, Nevske and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk Oblast and Veselo, Yakovlivka, Soltar, Bahmutsko, Podgordne, Bahmut, Kurdyumivka, Mayorshchyna, Vodyane, Krasnogorivka and Mariinka in Donetsk.

On the Volynian, Polesian, Northern and Slobozhansky directions, the situation remains unchanged; the enemy maintains military presence along the state border, no signs of forming offensive groupings by the enemy have been detected.

On the Northern direction, enemy shelling was recorded in the areas of populated places Vintorivka, Manuhivka, Rizhivka and Vorovba in Sumy Oblast.

On the Slobozhansky direction, mine mortar and artillery attacks were suffered by the areas of populated places Strilecha, Staritsya, Zemlyanka, Ustynivka, Vilkuvatka, Chugunivka, Novomlynsk and Kamianka in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy inflicted fire damage on areas around more than 25 populated places. Among them are Dvorichna, Kyslivka, Kotlaryvka and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast; Stelmakhivka, Ploschanokha, Dybrova and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk Oblast and Yamopolivka and Toriske in Donetsk.

On the Bakhmut and Avdiyivka directions, the enemy shelled positions of our troops around more than 20 populated places. Among them are Spirene, Berestove, Yakovlivka, Soltar, Bahmut, Opitne, Ozaryanivka, New York, Avdiyivka, Krasnogorivka and Mariinka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Novopavlovsk direction, fire impact was suffered by Vugledar, Velika Novosilka and Veremivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia direction, areas around more than 25 populated places were shelled. Among them are Hulyaypole, Chervone, Stepevo, Mali Shcherbaki, Shcherbaki and Charivne in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Nikopol — Dnipropetrovsk.

On the Kherson direction, the enemy continues artillery shelling of populated places along the right bank of the Dnipro River. Civilian infrastructure in the towns of Respublikanets, Tyagynka, Zelenivka, Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Sadove and Velentske in Kherson Oblast and the city of Kherson was damaged.

The enemy continues to suffer losses. Thus, in the town of Starobilsk in Luhansk Oblast, a military hospital occupied by the enemy has received nearly 50 seriously wounded enemy servicemen over recent times. In the town of Gorlivka in Donetsk Oblast, due to lack of donor blood, all medical facility staff were obligated to donate blood according to a set schedule.

The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out five strikes on areas concentrating personnel and equipment of enemy occupiers during the past day. And our rocket forces and artillery hit nine command points, two areas concentrating manpower and two other important targets of the enemy.
