"Ukrainians! Ukrainian women!
Today millions of people are celebrating Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar. And once again, I wish everyone who is celebrating right now and during these days.
And I want us to thank together—thank all those who do so even today and at any other time to enable us to live—to live our lives in our country.
I thank every one of our soldiers—the military. All the air force fighters, anti-aircraft gunners, scouts, border guards, National Guard members, territorial defense forces, naval forces. I thank each soldier and sailor, each sergeant and petty officer, each officer and general who hold the front line and try to push it further—towards our borders, which we must reach.
I thank everyone who repairs and supplies equipment. All those who volunteer.
I thank all of our medics and everyone who saves the wounded on the battlefield. I thank all the nurses who perform their duties under any circumstances selflessly.
I thank everyone who helps to ensure hospitals are supplied. All those who come to donate blood for the injured. And all those who came now in Kherson to help—to save the wounded from terrorist attacks on Christmas. Artillery and mortar fire—against ordinary Kharkiv streets... Not humans!
We will find every Russian killer. And I thank everyone working towards this goal: all investigative groups, prosecutors, officials, and diplomats.
I thank each and every one who helps to extract Ukrainians from captivity.
I thank our energy workers and repairmen, sappers, police officers, DSDS employees, municipal services staff.
I thank educators who continue building our future, and builders who care for us today.
I thank transporters who ensure the functioning of our economy, and financiers who maintain our stability.
I thank IT specialists who chose Ukraine.
I thank officials who care for people, and businesses that help society remain unbreakable.
I thank our farmers and agrarians who did not give up last spring and are preparing for the next one.
I thank all journalists who spread the truth, and civic activists who help our people maintain faith in themselves and victory.
I thank all leaders and nations of the world who this year together with Ukraine became leaders in defending freedom, and next year I believe we will do everything to become leaders of peace. This is possible.
Dear Ukrainians!
There are a few days left until the end of the year. We must be aware that our enemy will try to make this time dark and difficult for us. Russia has lost everything it could in this year, but is trying to compensate its losses through the malevolence of its propagandists after rocket attacks on our country, on our energy.
I know that darkness will not prevent us from bringing occupiers to new defeats. But we must be prepared for any scenarios.
Please heed air alerts during these days. Once again look for and remember the location of your nearest "Resilience Point."
Tell parents how to find a "Resilience Point" if needed. Over 5,500 such points have already been opened across the country.
Please also take care of yourself and be ready to help others.
When Ukrainians are together, when Ukrainians are grateful to each other, no one can defeat us. May it always be so! And it will be, I am sure!
Glory to our strong, beautiful, best people!
Glory to Ukraine!"
