Tuesday, December 8 saw the draw for the elite round of qualification for the UEFA Euro 2023 among under-19 teams, in which Ukraine's national team (players born no later than 2004) participated.

As a reminder, after victories over Kosovo (1:0), Cyprus (4:1) and Sweden (2:0), the team coached by Serhiy Nagorniak finished their group stage with a perfect record in first place. Thanks to this, they were placed into Pot 1 before the elite round draw.

In the elite round, 28 participants will compete for spots at the final tournament, which will take place from July 3 to July 16, 2023 in Malta. The winners of seven groups will advance.
