December 8 will see the draw for the elite round of Euro-2023 qualification among under-19 boys, in which Ukraine's team (players born in 2004 or later) will participate. The ceremony starts at 12:00 PM Kyiv time.

As a reminder, after victories over Kosovo (1:0), Cyprus (4:1) and Sweden (2:0), the team of Serhiy Nagornyy finished their qualifying round in first place with a maximum result. Thanks to this, before the elite round draw, blue-and-yellow made it into the first pot.

In the elite round, 28 participants across seven groups will compete for spots at the final stage, which will take place from July 3-16, 2023 in Malta, according to UEFA's official website.

At this stage of qualification, 27 teams that passed the first round and Portugal, who received a direct entry into the elite round as leaders of the corresponding age group rating, will play.

Elite Round Draw Procedure for Euro-2023 (U-19)

Before the draw was made, four pots were formed according to positions and statistics in the first qualification round.

Group winners of the qualifying round cannot meet teams that came second in those same groups.

In each group, there will be one team from each seeding pot. The hosts for mini-tournaments taking place in spring will also be determined separately.

Winners of seven groups will advance to the final stage where they will face tournament hosts Malta.
