Euro 2023 women's futsal championship. Ukraine's national team played against Poland in the main qualifying round at midnight and qualified for the final tournament
In the main round of Euro 2023 qualifiers, Ukraine's women's futsal team played against Poland in a night match and for the third time in history advanced to the continental championship final tournament. In the first game of Group 2, which was hosted by Poznan, Poland, the blue-and-yellow team defeated the Netherlands (5:2), and in the second game—they beat Croatia (5:1).

In the main qualifying round for Euro-2023, Ukraine's women's handball team played against Poland and for the third time in history qualified for the continental championship final tournament.
In the first match of Group 2, which was hosted by Poznan, Poland, blue-and-yellow overcame the Netherlands (5:2), and in the second — defeated Croatia (5:1). In the decisive match, Oleg Shaytanov's wards faced Poland. Considering Poland’s loss to the Netherlands in the second round and our confident victory over the same Netherlands, any result for Ukraine except a defeat by more than two goals (in case of tiebreaker matches between three contenders) was acceptable.
The hosts opened the score at the beginning of the match thanks to Fronczak's individual skill. On the 15th minute, Titova equalized after a pass from Dubytska. After halftime, both teams had opportunities to win, especially Poland with 17 seconds left before the final whistle when they substituted their goalkeeper for a field player. However, blue-and-yellow, who generally controlled the situation, achieved the desired draw and will participate in the finals for the third time. As a reminder, our team held fourth place at Euro-2019 and third place at Euro-2022.
