Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and thirty-first day of heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.
The enemy is trying to hold temporarily occupied territories, concentrating efforts on attempts to stop counter-offensive actions of the Defense Forces at certain sectors and attempting offensive operations along the Bakhmut and Avdiivka axes.
The adversary continues shelling our positions along the line of contact, carries out remote mine-laying in certain areas, and conducts air reconnaissance. It strikes civilian infrastructure and housing of the peaceful population, violating international humanitarian law, laws, and customs of war. Thus, during the past day, the occupiers launched one ballistic missile and 28 cruise missiles, with 20 of them being shot down by Ukrainian anti-aircraft units.
The enemy carried out 13 air strikes and conducted over 40 shelling operations using multiple rocket launchers. These criminal acts affected objects and civilian population in more than 40 settlements. Among them are Lviv, Popasna, Chugunivka, Ladizhyn, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, Pavlograd, and Nikopol. The enemy also used 14 Iranian kamikaze drones for strikes on critical infrastructure in the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions; 12 of these UAVs were destroyed.
There remains a threat of air and missile strikes across all of Ukraine's territory.
On the Volynian and Polesian axes, there are no significant changes in the situation.
Lukashenko declares readiness to provide assistance to the Russian Federation in its war against Ukraine. The defense-industrial complex of Belarus is already involved in repairing damaged Russian equipment during combat operations. In addition, 20 T-72 tanks were taken out of storage and sent to the Belgorod region.
On other axes, the enemy carried out shelling with mortars, tanks, artillery, and rocket launchers in areas around populated places:
on the Northern axis — Senkivka of Chernihiv Oblast and Seredyna-Buda, Novovasylivka, and Sorokine of Sumy Oblast;
on the Slobozhanskyi axis — Strilecha, Krasne, Horetskyi, Vovchan Hutori, Starytsia, Dvorichna, and Dvoriche;
on the Kramatorsk axis — Perehrestivne, Kovalevka, Terny, Yamopolivka, Toriske, Serbryanka, Bihorivka, and Severne;
on the Bakhmut axis — Bihorivka, Siversk, Bakhmut, Klyshchyvka, Otradivka, Opitne, Mayoriv, Spirene, and Yakovlivka;
on the Avdiivka axis — Avdiivka, Pervomaisk, Krasnogorivka, Marinka, and Novomykhailivka;
on the Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhia axes — Velyka Novosilka, Neskyuchne, Mali Shcherbaky, Orikhyv, and Chervone.
On the Southern Buzok axis , the enemy continues shelling our units' positions to slow down counter-offensive operations along the entire line of contact. Areas around more than 20 populated places were affected by fire. Among them are Velyke Artakove, Davydov Brid, Blahodativka, Sukhyi Stavok, Shyrokye, Ternevi Podi, Soldatske, Pravdine, and Mire.
According to available information, the occupiers in Kherson Oblast continue raiding seizures of agricultural enterprises, conducting inventories of assets there, and re-registering them under Russian law.
During the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by the occupiers around populated places such as Mykolaivka, Siversk, Bakhmut, Mayoriv, Pervomaisk, and Krasnogorivka.
As a result of successful actions by Ukraine's Defense Forces and due to a large number of casualties on temporarily occupied territories in the Luhansk region, there is a shortage of medical personnel. To replenish hospital staff, self-proclaimed regional leadership has submitted requests for dispatching medical personnel from central and eastern regions of the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian aviation carried out 15 strikes during the day. It was confirmed that 13 areas of enemy weapons and military equipment concentration as well as two anti-aircraft systems were hit.
Rocket forces and artillery units over the past day damaged 12 command posts, 17 areas of enemy manpower, weapons, and military equipment concentration, four ammunition depots, and more than 20 other important targets of the adversary.
We believe in Ukraine's Armed Forces! Together we will win! Glory to Ukraine!
