The World Beach Soccer Federation (BSWW) has updated the rankings of national teams following the qualification for the 2023 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, which took place from August 29 to September 4 on Sicily, and after the second stage of EuroLeague-2022, held from September 8 to 11 on Sardinia. This is reported by the official website of BSWW.

Both our teams, men's and women's, performed well at these tournaments, securing spots for both the 2023 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Bali and the European Games 2023 in Krakow. The Ukrainian men's national team secured fifth place in this year's EuroLeague, while the women's team — fourth.

Such results allowed our blue and yellow teams to quickly climb up in the BSWW world ranking. The women's national team improved its position by four spots immediately. Now, under Yuri Klimenko's guidance, they are on fifth place with 569 points, trailing Brazil by 61 points.

The Ukrainian men's national team also made significant progress. Under Mykola Kostenko's guidance, the team has climbed six places compared to their previous ranking and now stands at 11th place in the BSWW registry with 1005 points. They are trailing Uruguay by 177 points.
