Yesterday, the blue-and-yellow team arrived in Glasgow, where they conducted their first training session. The squad was joined by foreign players, including Andriy Lunin from Real Madrid. The Ukrainian national team goalkeeper talked about his playing condition and evaluated recent successes of his club.

"Of course, I missed it. This is the last gathering for the next half-year. There's a lot of desire to work and play. As for the first training session in Glasgow, everything went well after the journey; we rested a bit. A good workout with a nice rhythm.

Regarding competition, I primarily hope that Georgiy Bushchan will recover as soon as possible so that everything goes smoothly. And it's important for us to win and achieve results."

"I think the level of motivation in both teams is equal. What happened earlier — has passed. Scotland is a good team, strong, with technical players. So it will be tough, especially away from home."

"Successful series for Real Madrid? The mood is great when you win; it's always easier to work because there's positive dynamics. You train with the team, go through the process, and experience it. In this regard, everything is fine."

"As for my condition, I'm not new to such situations; I'm always ready to play and work. There are no problems at all. The most important thing — the team's result. If I can help, that's great. Of course, you always want to play and feel this atmosphere. You train to play. If they trust me in goal, I'll do everything to help," — Lunin said.

We remind you that the League of Nations match between Scotland and Ukraine will take place on September 21 in Glasgow at Hampden Park (kickoff — at 9.45 PM).
