The blue-and-yellow team arrived in Glasgow today. As planned, the Ukrainians flew out on a charter flight from Warsaw at 11:00 and were at their destination three hours later.

In the team bus parked on the runway, Roman Yaremchuk was already waiting for his teammates who had arrived in Glasgow slightly earlier. Right after the airport, the players headed to the Crowne Plaza hotel. There, the rest of the foreign-based players joined the national team. After a group lunch, the boys went to rest before their evening training session.

The first practice on Scottish soil took place at the Firhill pitch, which is home to the local Championship club Partick Thistle. The blue-and-yellow team had trained here before – about a year ago, on the day of their Euro 2020 round-of-16 match against Sweden.

The quiet stadium with its quality grass surface was perfect for the team's work. Today, almost all players were present except three who played for their clubs yesterday.

Roman Yaremchuk and Taras Kachaраба had only a recovery run around the pitch today. Vitaliy Mykolenko, who played the entire match for Everton yesterday, sustained minor injuries, so doctors decided it would be better if he rested today. The medical staff will examine him tomorrow to determine his readiness for training.

The official training session at Hampden Park will start at 18:30 local time. Half an hour before that, head coach Oleksandr Petrakov and team captain Andriy Yarmolenko will meet with the media in the arena's conference room.
