Note for your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on September 15, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.
Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and fourth day of heroic resistance against Russia's military invasion has begun.
The enemy continues to concentrate efforts on attempts at full occupation of Donetsk Oblast, maintaining occupied territories, and halting active actions of our troops on certain fronts.
The adversary is shelling our positions along the line of contact, attempting to reposition forces on certain axes, conducting aerial reconnaissance. There remains a threat of air and missile strikes against all territory of Ukraine.
The enemy continues to inflict blows upon civilian housing and infrastructure objects, violating international humanitarian law, laws and customs of war. Infrastructure in over 30 settlements has been affected by air and missile strikes and the use of multiple rocket launchers. This includes Kryvyi Rih, Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, Vuhlehirs'k, Kostiantynivka, Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, Bakhmut, Volovelske, Novomykhailivka, Verhnyokamyanske, Soledar, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, Zaytseve, Yuryivka, New York, Pervomaisk, Kamianka, Vremivka, Stebneve, Mali Shcherbakivka, Sukhyi Stavok, Kostromka, Bila Krinitsia and Mирне.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out eight missile strikes, 19 air attacks and conducted 86 artillery shelling of military and civilian objects on Ukrainian territory.
On the Volynian and Polesian fronts, there are no significant changes in the situation.
On other fronts, the enemy is shelling infrastructure with tanks, mortars and artillery, namely:
on the Severodonetsk front — near Hlaganyvka in Chernihiv Oblast;
on the Kharkiv front — around the settlements of Baranivka, Hopitivka, Vysoka Yaruga, Neskyuchne and Kupyansk;
on the Kramatorsk front — Tetianyvka, Kriva Luka and Bakhmut;
on the Bakhmut front — Vesele, Yakovlivka, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, Zaytseve and Sukha Balka;
on the Avdiivka front — Avdiivka, Pervomaisk, Vodiane, Krasnogorivka, Mariinka and Novomykhailivka;
on the Zaporizhzhia front — Volne Pole, Zelenoe Pole, Novopil, Velika Novosylovka, Pavlivka, Orikhyv, Mala Tokmachka and Bilya Hor;
on the South Bug front — Bila Krinitsia, Olhynne, Lubomyrivka, Ternev Podi, Pravdine, Mирне and Ivanivka. In addition, the enemy is constantly conducting aerial reconnaissance with UAVs.
According to available information, significant losses of personnel and military equipment in units of the 137th airborne assault regiment of the 106th airborne division of the Russian Federation's armed forces have been confirmed on the Bakhmut front. Significant losses do not allow the mentioned unit to continue combat operations without additional measures.
In order to maintain temporarily occupied territories, the enemy is attempting to strengthen the first line of defense in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts — moving reserves from units of the 3rd Army Corps, as well as remnants of units that were withdrawn from the Kharkiv front. At the same time, due to breaches by Defense Forces in logistical support for occupiers, Russian Federation armed forces units performing tasks along the line of contact are experiencing shortages of certain types of ammunition for multiple rocket launchers and artillery.
Defense Forces continue to successfully repel enemy attacks, particularly in the areas around Sporne, Soledar, Mayorivka, Zaytseve, Otradivka, Vesela Dolyna, Vodiane and Novomykhailivka.
During the past day, for support of ground units' actions, aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 12 strikes on enemy personnel and equipment concentrations. Six areas of enemy personnel concentration, two platoon strongpoints and four positions of anti-aircraft missile systems were confirmed to be hit. Enemy losses are being verified.
In addition, our air defense units at various fronts destroyed four aircraft of the occupiers: three Su-25s and one Su-24M.
Believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Together we will win! Glory to Ukraine!
