"Ukrainians! Ukrainian women!"

Today, a good result from our air forces — downed "Kalibr" missiles, an enemy attack helicopter, drones.

I want to thank all of our defenders and defenders of the sky from the Eastern Air Command. You are great — today and always.

Every such result is lives saved for our citizens, an opportunity for everyone in our country not to be afraid. We will do everything so that Ukraine can fully secure its skies from Russian missiles and aviation. This is one of the fundamental issues for our state.

And, of course, we are grateful to all our partners who help with responding to this difficult issue. Helping Ukraine with air defense — it is the most literal, obvious way to protect people from Russian terror.

Severe combat operations continue on many front lines — in Kharkiv region, in Donbas, and in the south of our country.

Russian troops have again hit Mykolaiv region, areas of Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk regions, Kharkiv. Sadly, there are casualties, among them, sadly, children.

Ukrainian artillery is doing everything to destroy the enemy's offensive potential so that every Russian command post and all their ammunition depots, all logistics routes on occupied territory are neutralized.

I thank our soldiers who ensure this. Today, in particular, I want to highlight the fighters of the 55th Artillery Brigade on the Donetsk front — for accurate fire against the enemy. Thank you and also to our intelligence services and Security Service of Ukraine for the accuracy of our responses to positions and targets of the occupiers.

Sadly, we have today an absolutely unacceptable event in Chernihiv city. During a public event in the city center, there was an explosion, a grenade launcher fired. Among the injured — children. A little boy is now in critical condition in intensive care.

Law enforcement must quickly determine why this happened and who brought combat weapons to this urban event. All those responsible will be held accountable. And they will be.

And I call on representatives of local authorities across the country, all our law enforcement officers to very carefully monitor so that this does not happen anywhere else ever again.

These days Russia is trying even more to increase energy pressure on Europe — gas transit via Nord Stream has completely stopped. Why are they doing this? Russia wants to ruin the normal life of every European — in all countries of our continent. Wants to weaken and scare the whole of Europe, each country. Where it cannot do this with conventional weapons, it does so with energy weapons. Trying to hit poverty and political chaos where it still cannot hit with missiles.

And to protect against this, we all in Europe need even more unity, even more coordination, even more help for each other.

This winter Russia is preparing for a decisive energy strike on all Europeans. And key responses to this must be two things: first — our unity, unity in defense against the state-terrorist, and second — strengthening our own pressure on Russia. This means intensifying sanctions at all levels, and restrictions on Russian oil and gas revenues.

The more blows we deal together, the fewer blows these terrorists can deliver.

Thank you to everyone who is defending our country!

Thank you to everyone who helps us!

Glory to Ukraine!"
