President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the meetings of the Supreme Commander's Headquarters and about European visa restrictions for Russian citizens.

"Ukrainians! Ukrainian women!

Today was a very tense day.

I held a meeting of the Supreme Commander's Headquarters. All relevant leaders were present: Zaluzhnyi, Monastyrskyi, Budanov, Maliuk, Danilov and others. I think it is obvious what issues we discussed. Military representatives reported on the situation at the front lines and its development.

I will not disclose details now. I will only say this: I want to thank, on behalf of our intelligence services, all those people who are supporting us very strongly in the south of our country, especially in Crimea. Intelligence officers are grateful for the information provided and will work it through to its maximum potential. Let enemies not forget that they are temporarily stationed on our peninsula.

The fighting in Donbas remains extremely difficult – hot spots in the region have not changed. Our boys firmly hold their positions. Thank you to every soldier for your steadfastness!

I held a meeting today with representatives of parliament and the government regarding current state plans.

Participated in the work of a very reputable forum in the Czech Republic, in Prague, called Forum 2000. It was founded by Václav Havel and draws significant attention in Europe.

Addressed the forum participants and called on them to strengthen support for our country in this war and protect all of Europe from Russian pressure. Specifically, visa restrictions for Russian citizens should finally be regulated.

I consider it demeaning for Europe when it is viewed simply as one big shop or restaurant. Europe is a territory primarily of values, not primitive consumption. And when citizens of the country that wants to destroy European values use Europe for entertainment or shopping, for lovers' vacations, while they themselves work on the war or just quietly endure Russia's moral collapse happening right now, this completely contradicts why Europe was united in the first place.

European unification aimed at supporting peace on the continent. Working towards a peaceful and democratic development of European countries. Europe cannot become morally deaf. And no European leader is going to overlook the consequences of COVID just because money supposedly doesn't smell.

Because if there's such deafness, if there's such a loss of ability to distinguish the scent of blood on banknotes, then there won't be Europe, there won't be peaceful Europe.

I am grateful to those Europeans who understand that in times of war, it is the obligation of any normal person – to fight so that the aggressor loses, so that occupation ends, so that Russian soldiers leave Ukrainian soil.

Today I want to thank all our farmers, port workers, diplomats, officials, who have returned Ukraine the status of a real guarantor of food security for African countries.

23 thousand tons of Ukrainian wheat under the UN World Food Program have already arrived in Djibouti Port. And will be delivered to residents of Ethiopia, where now the worst drought in 40 years is occurring and millions of people are on the brink of famine.

We also restored appropriate ties with countries of the Arabian Peninsula – almost 40 thousand tons of wheat are heading for Yemen.

Overall, already more than 1.5 million tons of our food have been exported by sea from three ports that operate thanks to the export grain initiative. We do everything so that the world feels the importance of Ukraine and is grateful to our people.

Signed a decree today on awarding our soldiers. 149 participants in combat operations were honored with state awards, including 15 posthumously. We will always remember our heroes!

Eternal glory to all who fight for Ukraine!

Glory to Ukraine!"
