To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on August 31, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred eighty-ninth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion has begun.

On the Volyn, Polesie, and Northern Directions the situation remains unchanged. Over the last period, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling in the areas of the populated places of Haidy in Chernihiv Oblast and Dmitrivka and Kindyativka in Sumy Oblast.

On the Kharkiv Direction the enemy conducted shelling with field and multiple rocket artillery in the areas of the populated places of Duvanka, Klinove, Sosnovka, Dementievka, Russkaya Lozova, Russkiy Tishki, Cherkinskiy Tishki, Velykyi Prohody, Tsirkuni, Pyrivka, Staroslavytiv, Peremoha, Shestakovoye, Bayrak, Norcivka and Shevelyvka.

On the Donetsk Direction the enemy does not give up attempts to reach the administrative border of Donetsk Oblast. As of today, fierce battles are ongoing on the Bakhmut and Avdiyiv directions in the areas of Kodema, Zaytseve, Pisky, Perevalskiy and Mariinka.

On the Slovyansk Direction enemy units continued shelling with field artillery and multiple rocket launchers near Dolyna, Krasnopillya, Bogorodichne and Vyrnopolye. The enemy's aviation delivered a strike in the vicinity of Vyrnopolye.

On the Kramatorsk Direction the enemy shelled with mortars, tanks, field artillery and multiple rocket launchers the areas of populated places of Veselye, Berestove, Bogorodichne, Tytanyvka, Zakitne, Mala Piskunyva, Hryhorivka, Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene, Ivan-Daryevka. The enemy's aviation delivered strikes in the vicinity of Spirene and Ivan-Daryevka.

On the Bakhmut Direction shelling with artillery of various types near Bakhmut, Bakhmutskiy, Sverdlovodar, Yakovlivka, Zaytseve, Mayorshka and Kodema was recorded. The enemy attempted to advance in the directions of Bakhmut, Veseloye Dolya and Zaytseve but failed and retreated. It is attempting to establish control over the populated place of Kodema where battles are ongoing.

On the Avdiyiv Direction the enemy carried out shelling with mortars, tanks, field artillery and multiple rocket launchers near Avdiyivka, Opitnoye, Uman'skoye, Perevalskiy, Staromikhailovka and New York. The enemy attempted to improve its tactical situation in the directions of Krasnogorovka and Mariinka but traditionally suffered losses and retreated.

On the Novopavlivsk Direction enemy artillery influence was recorded near Novomikhailivka, Paraskevivka, Prechistivka, Zolotoy Niva, Velyka Novosilka and Blagodatnoye.

On the Zaporizhzhya Direction, using tanks, multiple rocket launchers and field artillery, the enemy carried out shelling along the line of contact. The enemy is redeploying units and subunits of the 3rd Army Corps on temporarily occupied territory in Zaporizhzhya Oblast to restore its offensive on this direction.

On the South Buz Direction the enemy continued shelling military and civilian infrastructure in the areas of populated places of Oleksandrivka, Lubomirivka, Novomykolaivka, Lupareve, Chervoniy Yar, Novogrigoriyevka, Stepole, Perevalskoye, Kiselivka, Partizanskoye, Kvityne, Chervona Dolyna, Kobzarky, Ternovka, Andriyivka, Osokoryvka, Olgine, Ivanivka, Trudolyubivka, Dobryanka, Potyomkino, Knyazivka and Topoline. Strikes of the enemy's aviation were recorded in the area of Andriyivka and the Plotnitskye site.

The naval group of the enemy in the waters of the Black Sea and Azov Sea continues to perform tasks related to reconnaissance and blocking civilian shipping. The threat of missile strikes on objects and infrastructure elements in the depths of Ukraine remains.

The enemy suffers significant losses in manpower.
