To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on August 26, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred eighty-fourth day of heroic resistance against Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

On the Volyn, Polesie, and Northern Directions there have been no significant changes in the situation. Enemy artillery shelled civilian infrastructure near the villages of Shaligine, Shevchenkove, and Katerinivka in Sumy Oblast.

On the Kharkiv Direction the enemy shelled with field and rocket artillery objects in the areas of the towns of Kharkiv, Sosnovka, Demientievka, Slatine, Borchova, Peremoha, Ruski Tishky, Rubizhne, Lebyazhye, Mospanove, Gusarivka. Continued to actively use UAVs for reconnaissance and correction of artillery fire.

On the Slovyansk Direction the enemy continued combat operations aimed at maintaining previously occupied positions and preventing advances by units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Continued to inflict fire damage with tanks, field artillery, and MLRS near Norchivka, Dmitriyevka, Dolyna, Mazanivka, and Bogorodichno.

On the Donetsk Direction the enemy does not abandon attempts to conduct assault and offensive operations. Continues to concentrate efforts on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka Directions.

On the Kramatorsk Direction the enemy shelled our troops' positions and civilian infrastructure with artillery systems near Ivan-Daryivka, Serednyanka, Tytanyvka, Hryhorivka, Zvanivka, and Rozdolivka.

On the Bakhmut Direction areas of Bakhmut, Bakhmutskiy, Veseloye Dolya, Mayor'ska, Zaytsevo, Sverdlovsk, Solodyar, Bilohorivka, and Yakovlivka suffered artillery fire. Near Soledar, Bakhmut, and Kodema the enemy conducted offensive operations but did not achieve success.

On the Avdiyivka Direction tank, field, and rocket artillery shelling was observed near Novel'skoye, Water Supply, Netaylovskiy, Krasnogorovka, Novobakhmutivka, New York, Zaliznyy, and Opytnyy.

On the Novopavlivka Direction units of the enemy continued to inflict fire damage on territories near Pavlivka, Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka, Vuhledar, Volodymyrivka, and Velika Nova Solodka with tanks and various types of artillery.

On the Zaporizhzhya Direction enemy forces shelled areas near the towns of Velikomihailivka, Hulyaypole, Malinivka, Bilyhorod, Dorozhnyanka, Charyvne, Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka, Shevchenko, Vremyivka, Shcherbaki, Novosilka, Poltavka, and Novopil.

On the South Buzok Direction the enemy's main efforts are focused on preventing our troops from advancing. Uses measures to replenish losses. Conducted shelling of civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of Mykolaiv, Oleksandrivka, and another twenty populated places.

In the waters of the Black Sea and Azov Sea the naval group of Russian occupiers is concentrating its efforts on conducting reconnaissance and blocking civilian maritime traffic in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.

Ukrainian soldiers steadfastly hold their defense, inflict losses on the enemy, and are ready for any changes in the operational situation.
