President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, informing about the losses suffered by the enemy and the assistance provided to our people in temporarily occupied territories.

"Ukrainians!

All our defenders!

After completing this difficult 168th day of our defense, there are a few things worth saying.

The first. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, our intelligence and law enforcement agencies do not leave today's Russian shelling of Dnipropetrovsk region unanswered. Thirteen people died as a result of the occupiers' strike on Marhanets. More than ten were injured, five are in critical condition.

The Russian troops fired with "Grad" rockets. This latest manifestation of Russian terror, like the strikes on Mykolaiv and Kharkiv, once again proves that it is necessary to increase military assistance to Ukraine. The more powerful our weapons become and the greater their range, the sooner this cruel war will end.

And this is the second thing I wanted to say today. This is a question that concerns absolutely everyone: when will the war end? Some say - months away, some say - a year, others even longer. But the question of time really depends on the losses suffered by Russia. The more losses the occupiers suffer, the sooner we can liberate our land and guarantee security for Ukraine. This is what everyone who defends our country and helps Ukraine should think about: how to inflict maximum losses on the occupiers so that the war lasts less time.

If almost 43 thousand dead Russian soldiers do not convince Russian leadership to seek a way out of the war, then more fighting, more results are needed to persuade them.

Yesterday alone, the occupiers lost ten combat aircraft: nine in Crimea and one on the Zaporizhzhia front. There are also new losses among their armored vehicles, ammunition supplies, logistics routes...

The conference of defense ministers from partner countries will begin tomorrow in Copenhagen. Further support for our country during this war, especially with weapons, will be discussed. I am grateful to all our partners who understand that only by ensuring Russia's defeat on the battlefield, only through Russian losses - military, political, economic - can we bring back security for Ukraine and Europe as a whole. The more weapons Ukraine receives, the more military-technical and financial support it gets, the sooner both our people and all Europeans will be able to feel peace and stability.

And thirdly. I want to say this right now to residents of temporarily occupied territories. No matter what promises occupiers make, their only path is escape. At best. If they manage to do so.

We drove the Russian army out of northern regions. We expelled the occupiers from our Zmiinyi Island. They are already feeling that it's time to flee Kherson and generally from southern parts of our country. There will be a time when they will flee from Kharkiv region, from Donbas, from Crimea... And everyone who can help this should help.

If you have any important information about the enemy, please inform it in a safe way for yourself to our special services and military. If you know those who are helping occupiers or justifying aggression, please report on that as well.

Always assist our people in occupied territories who remain alone or without contact. Talk to them, support them, tell them about our struggle and the possibilities of evacuating to free territory. Occupants use our people as a living shield for their strikes. Ukraine will return everything and must save as many lives as possible.

I held several important meetings today, including on the program for rapid restoration of liberated territories.

Continuing to establish new connections at the highest level with African countries. Today I spoke with the President of the Republic of Ghana. Yesterday - with the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Food security, cooperation in international organizations, economic ties - these are issues that benefit both our country and African nations.

Evening signed another decree on awarding our defenders. 244 participants in combat operations were awarded state awards, including 21 posthumously.

Ukrainians must always remember that every step of our army in this war is made through fierce and difficult battles. Occupiers have captured nothing without the resistance of our heroes since February 24th and will not be able to hold on to anything. We will liberate everything.

Eternal glory to everyone who fights for our country!

Eternal memory to all those who gave their lives for Ukraine!

Glory to Ukraine!"
