Note for Attention — Operational Information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 05.08.2022 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred sixty-third day of heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion has begun.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions, units of the armed forces of the republic of Belarus are carrying out tasks to strengthen the protection of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border in the Brest and Gomel regions. In parts of special operations forces of this country, a check of combat readiness was noted.

On the Northern Direction, the enemy with field and rocket artillery shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of the populated places Zaliznyy Mist, Hay, Gremyach, Mykhalychyna Sloboda in Chernihiv Oblast and Starikove on Sumyshchyna.

On the Kharkiv Direction, the enemy carried out fire strikes with artillery of various types in the areas of populated places Kharkiv, Borschova, Korobochkine, Velyki Prohody, Ruskiye Tishki, Staryy Saltiv, Pryshyb, Tsirkuni, Mospanove, Bezruky.

On the Slovyansk Direction, shelling was recorded near Bogorodychne, Mazanivka, Gusarivka, Adamivka, Kurulka, Khrestyshcha, Suligivka, Dolgenykho and Velyka Komishuvaha.

On the Donetsk Direction, the enemy is conducting offensive operations on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka axes. Attempts to create favorable conditions for capturing Sverdlovsk and Bakhmut, expanding the controlled territory in the western suburbs of the city of Donetsk.

On the Kramatorsk Direction, shelling with field and rocket artillery, tanks was recorded in the areas of populated places Severnyy, Mykolayivka, Starodubivka, Spirene, Kriva Luka, Verkhnyokamyanske, Hryhorivka, Seriyebryanka, Raygorodok and Kaleniky. There were rifle battles.

On the Bakhmut Direction, the enemy carried out shelling of military and civilian infrastructure near Yakovlivka, Kodemy, Pokrovskoye, Rozdolivka, Verkhnya, Bakhmut and Sverdlovsk. Conducted offensive and storming actions with the aim of improving tactical position, did not succeed.

On the Avdiyivka Direction, the enemy carried out shelling from artillery and tanks near Piski, Prechystovka, Shevchenko, Volodymyrivka, Novobakhmutivka, Nevelskoye, Netaylovoye and Krasnogorivka. Conducted offensive actions, battles continue.

On the Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhya Directions, no active actions of the occupiers were recorded. The enemy carried out systematic shelling of civilian and military infrastructure near Kostyantynopol, Zaliznytsia, Varvarivka, Vremyvka, Mariinka, Hulyaypole, Hulyaypoliske, Mali Shcherbaky, Temriyivka and Bilyhorod.

On the Southern Bug Direction, the main efforts of the enemy are focused on preventing our troops from advancing. Supports a high intensity of reconnaissance with UAVs.

Shelling was recorded in the areas of populated places Mykolayiv, Luch, Limany, Nova Zorya, Novomykolaivka, Kobzarky, Lubomirivka, Kyselyvka, Andriyivka, Luhove, Bilyhorodka, Osokorivka, Podymovkyne and Zelenyi Hai.

Occupants delivered a rocket strike on an infrastructure object in the area of populated place Mykolayivka of Odesa Oblast.
