To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on August 4, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred sixty-second day of heroic resistance against the Russian military invasion has begun.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions units of the armed forces of the republic of Belarus are carrying out tasks to strengthen border security in the Brest and Gomel regions.

In parts of special operations forces of the republic of Belarus, a check of combat readiness was noted.

On the Northern Direction the enemy shelled with field artillery areas in Medvedivka, Chernihiv region and Krasnopillya and Myropillya, Sumy region.

On the Kharkiv Direction the enemy carried out fire strikes from tanks, field and rocket artillery in the vicinity of populated areas such as Kharkiv, Lebyazhe, Borschtovo, Demeniyevka, Korobochkino, Velykyi Prohody, Ruski Tishki, Staro-Saltyv, Prudyanka, Pitomnik, Tsupyvka.

The enemy made an attempt to advance towards Bayrak — Gusaryvka, combat operations are ongoing.

On the Slovyansk Direction shelling was recorded near Bogorodichne, Dybriivka, Mazanivka, Karnaukhivka, Chepyl and Gusaryvka. The occupiers attempted to advance towards Dolhynke — Bogorodichne but were repelled.

On the Kramatorsk Direction the enemy carried out shelling near Seversk, Mykolayivka, Starodubivka, Spirtse, Krivoi Luh, Verkhnyokamyanskyi, Hryhorivka, Serhiyivka, Raygorodka and Kaleniky. An air strike was delivered near Spirtse.

The enemy carried out an offensive battle towards Yaremyvka — Dolyna but failed to achieve success and withdrew.

On the Bakhmut Direction the enemy engaged field and rocket artillery in the vicinity of populated areas such as Yakovlivka, Travnivoye, Kodema, Pokrovskoye, Rozdolyvka, Kurdyumyvka, Zaytseve, Bakhmut and Solodyar. Air strikes were delivered near Yakovlivka, Solodyar and Kodema.

The occupiers attempted to improve their tactical position on the directions of Stropivka — Solodyar, Dolomitne — Travnivoye, Vyradzhennya — Verkhnya, Pokrovskoye — Bakhmut, Vasylivka — Yakovlivka, Semihirya — Verkhnya. On all the mentioned directions, the enemy failed to achieve success and withdrew. They are conducting offensive actions towards Novoluhanske — Kodema, combat operations are ongoing.

On the Avdiivka Direction the enemy shelled areas near Pisky, Prechystyvky, Shevchenko, Volodymyrivka, Nevelskoye, Netaylovo and Krasnogorivka. They carried out assault actions towards Luhanske — Pisky and Veselye — Pisky but failed to achieve success and withdrew.

On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia Directions shelling from artillery and tanks was recorded near Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Mariinka, Hulyaypole, Novosilky, Hulyaypoliske and Temirivka. The enemy delivered an air strike near Novopol.

Combat operations are ongoing towards Oleksandrivka — Mariinka.

On the Southern Buzhok Direction the enemy carried out shelling from tanks, field and rocket artillery in the vicinity of Mykolaiv, Prybuzkyi and another 25 populated areas. The enemy continues to conduct aerial reconnaissance with UAVs.

In the waters of the Black Sea and Azov Sea two carriers of cruise missiles are ready for use in high-precision weapons application.

Russian occupiers suffer losses, demoralized and seek any opportunity to obtain minor injuries. To return to Russian territory, they resort to self-harm and various health simulations.

Our destructive aviation continues patrolling the airspace of Ukraine, while strike aviation provides successful fire support for units in designated operational areas.
