June 23-24, the two-day summit of EU leaders will take place in Brussels. It is expected that during the summit, heads of state and government of the European Union will grant Ukraine candidate status for membership in this organization.
Ukraine submitted an application for EU membership on February 28, 2022, on the fifth day of Russia's full-scale invasion.

The Ukrainian Football Association and all national teams that participated or have participated in official tournaments and played friendly matches during this time supported Ukraine's accession to the European Union!
