Note for your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on June 23, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

The one hundred and twentieth day has begun of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion.

On the Volynian and Polesian Directions from June 22 to July 1, 2022, mobilization training of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus will take place in the Gomel region near the state border with Ukraine. During this period, issues related to conscription of reservists are planned to be addressed.

As part of combat readiness exercises, training is also being conducted with special operations units of Belarus, involving instructors from the armed forces of the Russian Federation. The main focus is on conducting sabotage-reconnaissance activities.

On the Northern Direction enemy units continue to be deployed in border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions. The adversary maintains up to three battalion tactical groups from the 1st Tank Army of the Western Military District, as well as airborne troops units. They are improving defensive positions near the village of Tiotkino in the Kursk region. Aggressor continues shelling Ukrainian Defense Forces units in border areas of Sumy region.

On the Kharkiv Direction enemy units focus their main efforts on preventing the advance of Ukrainian Defense Forces into the rear of occupation forces operating on the Siverskyi Direction. The adversary conducted aerial reconnaissance in the areas of the villages of Bayrak and Rubizhne.

On the Siverskyi Direction the aggressor's grouping concentrates its main efforts on improving tactical positions and identifying weak points in our forces' defense. The enemy is trying to create conditions for resuming offensive operations towards Izium-Bahmutovka and Izium-Siversk. To strengthen his units near the city of Izium, the adversary has moved two tank subunits. Occupants plan to use heavy mortar systems on the Siverskyi Direction.

On the Donetsk Direction the enemy focuses its main efforts on establishing full control over the city of Severodonetsk, conducting offensive actions aimed at encircling our forces in the area of Lysychansk and blocking major logistical routes.

On the Northern Donbas Direction the adversary has seized populated areas of Loskutivka and Ray-Oleksandrivka. It is conducting storming actions aimed at establishing control over the village of Syrotin. Preparations are being made for crossing the Siverskyi Donets river.

On the Bakhmut Direction occupiers conduct offensive operations towards populated areas of Zolote and Vovchyarivka. They attempt to seize commanding heights near Berestove with the aim of establishing control over the route from Bakhmut to Lysychansk. To strengthen his units in this area, the adversary has moved one battalion tactical group from the Central Military District into the vicinity of Novotoshkivske.

On the Kramatorsk, Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhia Directions the enemy did not conduct active operations. It conducts shelling aimed at restraining actions of Ukrainian Defense Forces units and preventing their redeployment to other directions.

On the Southwestern Direction occupiers concentrate their main efforts on preventing our forces from conducting counter-offensive operations in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. They are carrying out engineering fortification of positions.

On the Mykolaiv Direction the enemy has deployed artillery units in certain areas. Further attempts to conduct storming actions towards Kyselivka-Posad-Pokrovsk and Oleksandrivka-Lupareve with the aim of reaching administrative borders of Kherson region cannot be ruled out.

On the Krivoy Rog Direction the aggressor is conducting engineering fortification of positions.

Naval ships in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas continue to carry out tasks for isolating the area of combat operations and conducting reconnaissance. The aggressor continues to block civilian maritime traffic in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.

Five missile carriers of the sea-based Kalibr cruise missiles (total salvo — up to 40 missiles) remain ready for use in the Black Sea area.

Our units continue to carry out rocket-artillery fire tasks on designated directions. Ukrainian defenders inflict losses on Russian occupiers across all fronts where active combat operations are ongoing.
