Note for your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on June 5, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The hundredth day has begun of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion.

The aggressor continues to inflict rocket and aviation strikes on objects of military and civilian infrastructure within our territory, including in Kyiv.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions, there remains a threat of missile and aviation strikes from Belarusian territory. Until June 11, 2022, the deadlines for conducting readiness checks of military units of the Republic of Belarus have been extended. Within these measures, in the Brest region, a tactical control exercise was conducted with one of the special operations forces brigades of the Republic of Belarus. Issues related to actions of units in urban conditions and overcoming water obstacles were addressed.

On the Northern Direction, the aggressor carried out artillery shelling of infrastructure objects in the areas of the populated places of Starikove and Katerynivka, Sumy region, as well as the populated place of Kamianka Sloboda, Chernihiv region.

To clarify the positions of our troops, the enemy conducted aerial reconnaissance with UAVs in designated areas of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

On the Kharkiv Direction, units of the enemy continue to concentrate their main efforts on holding occupied positions and preventing further advance of our forces towards the state border. The enemy does not cease artillery strikes against our troops near the city of Kharkiv.

Russian occupiers used phosphorus ammunition in the area of the populated place of Cherkasy Tishki.

On the Slovyansk Direction, enemy groupings have completed redeployment of troops. Designated units are conducting offensive operations towards Dovgenkove — Dolyna and Brakhivka — Verhopillya.

On the Donetsk Direction, aggressor units concentrate their main efforts on conducting offensive actions with the aim of encircling our troops in the areas of the cities of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk, as well as blocking key logistical routes.

On the Lyman Direction, the enemy is conducting an offensive towards Svyatogorsk, attempting to push our forces back to the right bank of the Siverskyi Donets river.

On the Severodonetsk Direction, occupiers supported by artillery are carrying out assault actions in the city of Severodonetsk, controlling the eastern part of the city. Additionally, with the aim of seizing key heights, the enemy is attempting to conduct an offensive towards Nirovka — Mykolaivka.

On the Bakhmut Direction, for reinforcement of units that suffered losses, the enemy transferred over 20 units of armaments and military equipment.

On the Avdiivka, Kuryahivka, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhzhia Directions, occupiers are conducting artillery strikes against our troops' front lines and rear areas with the aim of tying down our units and preventing their redeployment.

On the Southern Bug Direction, in anticipation of offensive actions by our forces in a designated area, the enemy conducted mine-laying along the banks of the Inhul River.

The enemy has deployed on the Mykolaiv Direction up to two rocket and two howitzer artillery battalions. Also attempted to recapture lost positions on the Sukhyi Stavok — Lozovo direction. Suffered significant losses and withdrew.

Five missile carriers of cruise missiles "Kalibr" are in readiness for use in the Black Sea waters.

Over the past day, on the Donetsk and Luhansk Directions, five enemy attacks were repelled, three tanks, four artillery systems, eleven armored combat vehicles, twenty-six units of automotive equipment were destroyed. Air defense units shot down a Ka-52 combat helicopter and two UAVs of the "Orlan-10" type.

Anti-aircraft missile subunits of air forces destroyed an enemy aircraft, likely Su-34, on the Eastern Direction and a UAV of the "Forpost" type on the Southern Direction.

With means of anti-aircraft defense of military-naval forces, four cruise missiles "Kalibr" were damaged.

In summary for the previous day, units of the Armed Forces destroyed nine aerial targets of the enemy.

Moreover, destructive aviation continues to patrol our country's airspace and provides successful artillery support to our troops on the Eastern Direction and in other designated operational areas.
