The UEFA Executive Committee, which includes Andriy Pavelko, president of the UAF, has adopted a decision to separate teams from Ukraine and Belarus in all future UEFA tournaments with immediate effect.

On March 3, 2022, the UEFA Executive Committee adopted a decision: since the Russian army's invasion of Ukraine was carried out from Belarusian territory, all clubs and national teams of Belarus participating in UEFA competitions must play their home matches on neutral grounds. Additionally, matches where Belarusian teams are hosts will be played without spectators.

Today's additional decision was adopted to ensure the smooth conduct of UEFA tournaments, as the safety of teams, officials, and other match participants cannot be fully guaranteed due to the presence of a military conflict.

The UEFA Executive Committee remains ready for additional meetings to reassess the legal and factual situation as it develops and to take further decisions if necessary.

Today, the UEFA Executive Committee also approved special rules for the final stage of Euro 2022 Women's, which will be held from July 6 to July 31, 2022 in England, to ensure a safe conduct of the tournament amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
