Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on May 14, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The eightieth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the Russian military invasion has begun.

The enemy continues to wage a large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.

The main goal of the adversary is to establish full control over the territory of Donetsk, Luhansk and Kherson regions and ensure the stability of a land corridor with temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea.

Russian aggressor continues combat operations in the Eastern Operational Zone, carries out fire impact along the entire line of confrontation and deep into our defense. The highest activity of the occupiers is observed on the Slovyansk and Donetsk axes.

The threat of enemy missile-bombardment strikes against military and civilian objects in Ukraine remains.

On the Volyn and Polesie axes, the adversary did not conduct active operations. Up to seven battalions from the armed forces of the republic of Belarus continue to perform tasks for covering the Ukrainian-Belarusian border. The evacuation of military equipment and property of Russian Federation Armed Forces from the territory of the Republic of Belarus continues.

On the Northern axis, the adversary ensures reinforced security of the section of the Ukrainian-Russian border in Bryansk and Kursk regions.

On the Kharkiv axis, the enemy did not conduct active combat operations. Main efforts were focused on ensuring the withdrawal of its troops from the city of Kharkiv, holding occupied positions and supply routes.

On the Sloviansk axis, the adversary carried out artillery shelling of civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of Dovgenke, Dolyna and Gusarivka settlements.

Russian occupiers conducted aerial reconnaissance using «Orlan-10» UAVs in the areas of Izium, Kapitolivka and Dybrova Kharkiv region settlements.

On the Donetsk and Tavriysk axes, the adversary used mortars, artillery, multiple rocket launchers and aviation with the aim of inflicting maximum losses on Ukrainian Defense Forces units, exhausting personnel strength and destroying fortification structures.

In addition, the adversary attempts to improve tactical positions in the areas of Komishuvaha, Krasnogorivka, Novomikhailivka, Konstantinovka and Pobeda settlements. No success is achieved.

In Mariupol city, the adversary continues to block our units in the area of Azovstal plant. Delivers massive artillery and air strikes.

On the Zaporizhzhya axis, with the aim of holding seized territory, preparations for the construction by occupiers of a multi-layered defense are noted.

On the South Buzhsky axis, no significant changes in the situation were observed. The adversary continues to shell our positions from mortars and artillery.

On the Donetsk and Luhansk axes over the past day, ten attacks by Russian occupiers were repelled, five tanks, five artillery systems, six units of armored combat vehicles and seven enemy vehicles were destroyed.

Anti-aircraft defense units shot down three «Orlan-10» unmanned aerial vehicles.

Overall losses of the adversary will be published a little later.
