Note for your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on April 9, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The forty-fifth day has begun of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the Russian military aggression.

The Russian Federation continues to wage a full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine. The occupiers continue preparing for an offensive on the eastern part of our country with the aim of establishing complete control over the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

On the Volyn Front, there were no changes in the situation or actions by the enemy.

On the Polesie Front, the enemy did not conduct active operations. Separate units that were withdrawn from Ukrainian territory continue to remain on the territory of Belarus. According to available information, with the aim of regrouping troops, the enemy is moving units from the 35th Combined Arms Army of the Eastern Military District and the 76th Airborne Division of the Russian Federation's Armed Forces into Belgorod and Voronezh regions.

On the Northern Front, the enemy has completed regrouping forces and restoring combat readiness for units of the Central Military District in Bryansk and Kursk regions, as well as moving separate units from the 41st Combined Arms Army and the 90th Tank Division into Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

On the Slobozhansky Front, the enemy continues intensive shelling and partial blockading of the city of Kharkiv. Enhancing radio-electronic reconnaissance. In the territory of Belgorod region, occupiers have set up field camps for units that were moved from other operational areas.

On the Izium Front, the enemy conducted an offensive towards the populated areas of Brakhivka and Suligivka but was unsuccessful.

On the Donetsk Front, the enemy continues assault operations. Main efforts are focused on taking control over the populated areas of Rubizhne, Novo, Popasna, and Novobahmutivka as well as establishing complete control over the city of Mariupol.

On the South Buzky Front, the enemy has intensified reconnaissance activities. Conducted artillery shelling of populated areas of Mar'yanskoye, Novovorontsovka, Novogrigoryevka and Shevchenkove. Continues to inflict rocket strikes on populated areas in Odesa region from the territory of Crimea.

In the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, defenders and defenderesses of Ukraine repelled seven enemy attacks over the past day, destroyed nine tanks, seven units of armored vehicles, and five units of motorized equipment of the enemy.

By the Air Force Grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the previous day, four aerial targets were hit: two helicopters, one UAV, and one cruise missile. Information is currently being verified.
