During a working visit to Odessa, the President of the Ukrainian Football Association and Chairman of the UAF Coordination Center, Andriy Pavelko, held a meeting with members of the Executive Committee of the Odesa Oblast Football Association and football legends.

The meeting was attended by Committee of Professional Football Co-Chairman Igor Belanov, First Vice President of the UAF Vadim Kostyuchenko, Deputy Chairman of the oblast association Igor Shukhovtsev, star veterans Valeriy Porkuyan, Yuri Romensky, Oleksii Hay and Ivan Hetko.

The participants discussed the work of the oblast association under martial law, the functioning of the regional humanitarian hub, in which Grigoriy and Dmitro Bibergali are involved, as well as providing support to defenders of Odessa, medical personnel, internally displaced persons, and evacuation opportunities for young students from football schools in the city to western regions of Ukraine. It should be noted that FC «Chornomorets» provides significant support in the operation of the hub.

“The Odesa Center works closely with our hubs in Uzhhorod, Lviv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv. And it will help with the evacuation of young football players and organizing necessary items and food supplies for temporary IDPs, our military and medical personnel who care for the wounded”, — said Andriy Pavelko.
