After initial decisions made by the FIFA Council and UEFA Executive Committee, which provided for additional measures to be taken, FIFA and UEFA have jointly decided today that all Russian teams, whether national or club, will be suspended from participating in competitions under the auspices of FIFA and UEFA until further notice.

These decisions were adopted today by the FIFA Council Bureau and the UEFA Executive Committee – the highest bodies responsible for making such urgent decisions for both institutions.

Recalling that on February 24, in light of the military aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the UAF sent relevant appeals to FIFA and UEFA following a decision by its executive committee and on February 25, UEFA adopted important initial decisions regarding the aggressor country.
