A legend of Ukrainian football, former star midfielder for Kyiv's "Dynamo" and the Ukraine national team, Oleksiy Mykhaylychenko, emotionally supported our country and its people against Russian aggression.

Legendary Ukrainian footballer and first vice-president of the Ukrainian Football Association, Oleksiy Mykhaylychenko, commented on Russia's aggression towards Ukraine.

"Dear friends! Dear Ukrainians! I greet you!

I am currently in Kyiv, near the National Opera of Ukraine. It is very painful for me to see what these barbarians are doing to our country and to our people. It is painful to see how we live now. But we are living and will continue to live!

May God spare us from living in a country that resembles Russia. May God spare us from having such an inhuman person as Putin ruling Ukraine. I am proud of our country, our army, and our people! We will definitely win! Glory to Ukraine!"
