In this stage of the tournament, two teams that have passed all preliminary stages and six teams from the higher league, which occupy 5–10 positions at the end of the last season: «Shakhtar», «Ladomir», «Kryvbas», «Polska», «Panthers», and «EMS-Podillya» will participate.

Four pairs will be formed, the winners of which will advance to the quarterfinals along with the top four teams from the higher league for the 2024/2025 season: «Vorskla», «Metalist 1925», «Kolos», and «Sisters».
