In the 2025/2026 season, the Ukrainian Cup for women's football received a new format that will allow more effective integration of teams from different regions and levels of preparation, as well as increase competition at every stage.

All representatives of the highest league and first league must participate in the national cup, with the exception of reserve teams (thus, the «Metalist 1925» reserves will not take part).

The tournament includes four preliminary stages and a final stage: quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals. All stages of the knockout rounds consist of one match.

In case of a draw after regular time, the winner will be determined immediately through penalty shootouts (knockout penalties) according to IFAB Laws of the Game rules without additional time.

First Preliminary Round

The first round includes participants from the first league, divided into four groups by regional distribution.

Each group will play internal matches in a knockout format to determine two teams that will advance further.

Winner of semifinal 1 «A» — winner of semifinal 2 «A».

Winner of semifinal 2 «B» — winner of semifinal 1 «B».

Winner of semifinal 1 «C» — winner of semifinal 2 «C».

Winner of semifinal 1 «D» — «Zhivir».

Third Preliminary Round

Semi-final 1

Winner of Group «B» — winner of Group «A».

Semi-final 2

Winner of Group «C» — winner of Group «D».

Fourth Preliminary Round

In this stage, two teams that have passed all qualifying stages and six teams from the highest league occupying 5th to 10th places at the end of the previous season will participate: «Shakhtar», «Ladomir», «Kryvyi Rih», «Polesia», «Panthers», and «EMS-Podillia».

Four pairs will be formed, with winners advancing to the quarter-finals along with the top four teams from the highest league of the 2024/2025 season: «Vorskla», «Metalist 1925», «Kolos», and «Sisters».

Final Stage: Quarter-finals, semi-finals, final
