In the final match of the 2025 Women's Ukrainian Cup, the Kharkiv "Metalist 1925" and Poltava "Vorskla" met at the Rovenky stadium «Avangard».

The Poltavans entered the decisive stage as reigning cup holders, while the Kharkiv team was playing in its first-ever final match. It's worth noting that Olesya Benda, captain of Ukraine's women's amputee football team, made the first shot on goal.

After 30 minutes of even play, "Vorskla" managed to open the scoring. A mistake by Daria Apanshenko led to an immediate through ball from Kateryna Korsun, which Marina Shainyuk expertly converted.

Immediately after halftime, the teams exchanged sharp moments, but in each case, goalkeepers Kateryna Samson and Iryna Slavych played well.

Five minutes before the final whistle, Elizaveta Molodyuk had a one-hundred percent chance to equalize, but her shot from close range was parried away by Poltava's goalkeeper. "Vorskla" responded with a powerful shot from Roxolana Kravchuk, but the ball went over the crossbar.

Therefore, "Vorskla" won its fifth consecutive and fifth overall Ukrainian Cup (although in the seasons 2019/2020 and 2020/2021, the team won under the name «Zhitlobud-2»).
