Within the first-ever educational and training camp in women's football history in Ukraine under the patronage of FIFPRO, which is taking place in Kyiv from July 14 to August 3, a social project called «Champion Mindset» was held for free agents.
Representatives of the women's and girls' football department at the UAF, including Anastasiia Kliapachenko, visited the players to discuss and conduct a training lecture.
Approximately 20 players who wish to continue their professional careers and find new clubs participated in a training session on mental health support.

Psychology in football is extremely important. It accounts for 50% of success in professional sports.
«Champion Mindset» — this way of thinking influences players' decisions, emotional state, and actions both on the field and in everyday life. The program is designed to help players unlock their inner strength, potential, and leadership qualities.

This project is a result of cooperation between the Women's and Girls' Football Committee at the UAF, UAF Foundation, and NGO «Champion Pathway», aiming to create a strong mental foundation for enhancing team interaction in women's and girls' teams.
The theme of the program is «Emotions», which helps players and coaches understand their emotional state during matches and training, regulate it, and make better decisions on the field.

For young players, a diary called «Emotions of a Player» was created to track their state and find ways to improve it.
Coaches receive mental cards that become part of the quality training process.
Today, 12 teams have benefited from this new program, involving 300 players aged 12 to 19, including members of WU-15, WU-17, and WU-19 national teams.
We believe that the «Champion Mindset» project within the Women's and Girls' Football Development Strategy will change the approach to preparing young players!
