The Ukrainian WU-16 girls' national team (players born in 2009–2010) will gain experience at the UEFA Women's Development Tournament, which will take place from May 7 to 12 in Croatia.

As reported by the Ukrainian Football Association, head coach of the blue-and-yellow team Lyudmila Lemeshko has published a list of 24 players who have been called up for preparation for the tournament.

Before traveling to Croatia, the girls will hold a short training camp in Ternopil, at the end of which 20 players will be selected to represent Ukraine in the competition.

The opponents of the Ukrainians at the tournament will be their counterparts from Croatia, Hungary, and Morocco. According to the regulations, each team will play three matches. A win will earn three points; in case of a draw, a penalty shootout will take place, with the winner receiving two points and the loser one point.
