April 8-11 in the city of Sopot (Poland) the 14th UEFA Mass Football Conference was held, organized jointly with the Polish Football Association.

April 8–11 in the city of Sopot (Poland), the 14th UEFA Mass Football Conference was held, organized jointly with the Polish Football Association. As part of the event, a ceremony took place to award mass football awards for the 2024/2025 season.

A delegation from the Ukrainian Football Association also participated in the conference, including:

— Oleksandr Kadynko – member of the UEFA Mass Football Commission, member of the UAF Executive Committee, co-chairman of the UAF Development Committee;

— Olha Vladimirova – head of the UAF football development department;

— Bohdan Hordiienko – head of the UAF children's and youth football department.

This year's conference became an important platform for discussing mass football development strategies, strengthening cooperation among European associations, and seeking new approaches to engaging participants. Special attention was paid to topics such as inclusivity, girls' and women's engagement in football, coaching education, technology use, esports, and innovative game formats.

During the event, emphasis was placed on the importance of mass football as a foundation for the European football model that contributes to value formation, healthy living, social cohesion, and community development.

Also within the framework of the conference, UEFA awards were presented for support of the updated Mass Football Charter — an initiative that promotes sustainable and quality development of football for all. Among the honored projects is a special award for the 2022/2023 season to the Football Federation of Moldova for its initiative supporting Ukrainian children.

It should be noted that on the eve of the conference, Oleksandr Kadynko participated in a meeting of the UEFA Mass Football Commission, during which current initiatives were discussed, including updating the technical department, the Take Care project, partnership with EA SPORTS, and launching an online platform for the school program WEURO.
