The program for the development of school football in Ukraine by the Ukrainian Football Association is actively being implemented in Odesa. The Odesa Oblast Football Association and the Odesa Academy of Continuous Education held qualification courses for physical education teachers with a module on "Football."

For several days, teachers from various corners of Odesa received theoretical and practical knowledge about football, completed test assignments. The Odesa OFA invited a high-level lecturing team to the courses and provided the most comfortable and safe conditions for conducting methodological and practical sessions. Training took place at different locations: in classrooms at the academy, on football fields and theory rooms of NTB "Vidradnya", on Football Glory Avenue and in the museum of FC "Chornomorets", on a football field and in the press room of the Chornomorets Stadium.

Course attendees received certificates and D-licenses from UAF, as well as kits with equipment in shoulder bags and guides on school football for quality delivery of football lessons and other football events at their schools.

The ceremony took place on the main football location in Odesa – Chornomorets Stadium. Teachers were welcomed by the head of the Scientific and Methodological Committee of OOFA, Serhiy Halyza, and the training coordinator from OANO, Svitlana Onyshchuk.

Together with the teachers, they noted that the UAF program will have many positive results for the physical and emotional development of children, for their psychosocial support in wartime conditions, and will bring a lot of benefits to schools implementing football.
