Today, on April 23, the Ukraine U-16 youth team (players born in 2008 or later) will start their participation in the UEFA Development Tournament, which will run until April 28 in Tallinn.

The blue-and-yellow team will face teams from Northern Ireland, Estonia, and Luxembourg. The matches are considered one of the stages of preparation for the Euro-2025 (U-17) qualification round, which will take place in the fall.

"At this camp, there will be many players from abroad as well as a number of our boys whom I have personally observed. I can say that we are putting together quite a decent team based on quality. However, it will be an introductory camp for them. We want the boys to get used to our demands and also experience what it's like to play in an international tournament under pressure, wear the blue-and-yellow jersey, and understand what it means. This will be somewhat of a test for them," — said Ukraine’s youth team head coach Yuriy Moroz the day before.
