Before the gathering, the head coach of our team, Yuriy Moroz, shared his thoughts on the upcoming plans with the official website of the Ukrainian Association of Football.

"On this training camp, there will be many players from abroad and quite a few of our boys whom I have personally observed," noted Yuriy Moroz. "I can say that a decent team is being formed based on the quality of the players. However, this will be an introductory training camp. We want the boys to get used to our demands and also feel what an international tournament is like, experience pressure, and most importantly, understand what it means to wear the blue-yellow jersey. This will be a kind of test for them."

It's worth noting that the qualifying round of the European Championship will take place in the fall, so the preparation starts with the UEFA Development Tournament.
