WU-19: Ukraine completed campaign in Euro 2024 qualifiers
Today, on April 9th, in the Czech city of Chomutov, the Ukraine women's team WU-19 concluded their campaign in Round 2 of Euro 2024 qualifiers in League A with a match against Norway.
Under the guidance of Nataliya Iрnatovнch, the team played two matches in Group A4, both ending unsuccessfully. In the first, they suffered a defeat against France (0:2), and in the second, they were beaten by Czechia (0:1). Today, in Chomutov, the blue-yellow team played their final match in this stage of the competition against Norway.
Once again, our girls failed to achieve success. A hat-trick by Ida Natvik along with goals from Emma Reshane and Kamilla Melgor secured a 5:0 victory for the Norwegian national team. Consequently, the Ukraine WU-19 team did not earn any points and finished fourth in Group A4, relegating to League B for the Euro 2025 cycle.
