In Lviv, a training and educational seminar for female referees is taking place, organized by representatives of the Referees Committee of the Ukrainian Association of Football: Viktor Derdo, Mykhailo Ovchar, and Andriy Shandor.

A training and educational seminar for female referees is taking place in Lviv, organized by representatives of the Referees Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association Viktor Derdo, Mykhailo Ovchar, and Andriy Shandor.

The program of the seminar began with pedagogical testing of referees and assistant referees on their theoretical knowledge of the Laws of the Game and a UEFA video test.

Next comes a series of theoretical sessions on topics such as:

— The contemporary interpretation of IFAB, FIFA, and UEFA regarding the offside rule.

— Contemporary interpretations and requirements of FIFA, UEFA, and UAF concerning incidents involving handling the ball.

— Contemporary interpretations and requirements of FIFA, UEFA, and UAF regarding the interpretation of situations with fouls due to carelessness, unsporting behavior or excessive force and misconduct.

— Offside: choosing a position and movement that create the best conditions for decision-making.

— Practical advice for assistant referees. Offside position: level of concentration on the game.

— Contemporary interpretations and requirements of FIFA, UEFA, and UAF regarding the interpretation of situations involving fouls for denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity (OGSO) and preventing a promising attack.

Participants in the seminar also conduct practical sessions reviewing matches from the final stage of the WU-14 Girls' Cup and complete a fitness test.
