An online conference between UEFA and the UAF regarding Ukrainian refereeing in mass football took place on Wednesday as part of the process of signing a new Mass Football Charter.

On behalf of the UAF, those responsible for relevant areas participated in the conference — Serhiy Lysenchuk (young referees) and Oleksandra Volodymyrova (mass football).

During the discussion from UEFA's side it was noted that this social direction has been a successful experiment during wartime thanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, UAF, and UEFA, which allowed many representatives of various strata of society to be involved in football.

During the presentation, report, and statistics demonstration, UEFA gave positive feedback to the UAF regarding this mass project and the "Become a Referee" program.

Also, words of gratitude were expressed by the head of the CAUAF Kateryna Monzul from UEFA's side for supporting the refereeing system in Ukraine. In turn, European officials greeted Kateryna with her new challenge and wished her no obstacles on this new path.

As a result of joint efforts by representatives of UEFA and UAF, all participants in the online conference prepared and approved new recommendations for further successful steps in developing this direction in Ukraine.
