President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, informing about the release of another 207 of our military prisoners and about the continuous strengthening of protection for energy facilities.

Briefly on this day.

First of all - exchange, naturally. We returned our people. Another 207. In total more than three thousand. Boys who fought in Mariupol and other directions in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia. Different ranks among the boys, different experience. All equally important for Ukraine. And we have freed all of our people. And this is a duty. We look for everyone - military and civilians. We check all possibilities. And our team works on this without any breaks.

Secondly. Preparing for the European Council summit at the leader level. This is tomorrow's day. Important will be gratitude to all of our partners, further consolidation so that we can go through this year exactly as Ukraine and all of Europe need it. We will set priorities.

And thirdly, what everyone must pay attention to.

Every night, every day - new Russian terrorist attacks. Missiles and drones. A significant part we shoot down. There are still many hits. But as of January 31st. The energy situation is fundamentally different from last winter. The system has been preserved. We supply Ukrainians with energy. We secure and continuously strengthen the protection of energy facilities. Strengthening our air shield.

There's still a lot to go through this winter, and Russian terrorist attacks will continue, and Russians will try to break our defense. We are aware of the threat. And thank everyone who defends the state. Who is on night and day combat shifts. Ukrainian Air Forces, all our anti-aircraft troops, mobile fire groups, every air defense battery. And each soldier in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And each worker in the energy sector - all enterprises that work. All networks we preserve and restore. This is a huge job by many people.

Such state protection, such protection of our nation's life - this is a common cause. In defense, in active actions, in protecting vital systems everything depends, of course, on the professionalism and courage of specific individuals. If there were no such people in Ukraine, our country could not have stood up. But thanks to these people, thanks to our such nation, Ukraine stands, Ukraine defends itself, Ukraine achieves its goals in war.

I thank everyone who fights and works for the state. Everyone who helps. And who adds their interests into unity with all others in Ukraine. Successful state defense is always a common cause. And Ukrainians know how to overcome difficulties. We will overcome everything! As already many have been overcome. Thanks to the awareness of shared interests. State interests.
