According to the decision of the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association, the Extraordinary XXVI Congress of the UAF will take place on January 25, 2024, at the House of Football (Kyiv), starting at 12:00.

We remind representatives of the media that accreditation for the UAF Congress began on the 16th and will end on January 23rd.

As is known, the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association tasked the administration and presidency of the UAF with carrying out all statutory activities related to the preparation and conduct of the extraordinary congress. The implementation of this decision is under the supervision of First Vice President of the UAF Vadim Kostyuchenko.

"Now we are in the final stretch of preparations for the Congress. All relevant departments of the UAF are fulfilling their duties properly, so everything is proceeding according to schedule. We previously reported that we received confirmation regarding the participation of delegates from all members of the UAF at the Congress. In the House of Football, guests will include Golden Ball winners Oleg Blokhin and Igor Belanov, head coach of Ukraine's national team Serhiy Rebrov, head of the NOC of Ukraine Vadym Gutzeit, acting minister for youth and sports of Ukraine Matviy Bidny.

In recent days, we received confirmation regarding the participation in the Congress of previous presidents of the national football association — former Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Pustovoytenko, honorary UEFA member Hryhorii Surkis, and legendary player and ex-national team coach Anatoliy Konkov. We also accepted invitations from Andriy Kozhemiykin, head of the Committee on Youth and Sports of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, general lieutenant, Valeriy Suskevych, president of the National Committee for Sport of Persons with Disabilities, and Vadim Sviridenko, Special Envoy of the President of Ukraine for Rehabilitation of Participants in Armed Conflicts," — said Vadim Kostyuchenko to the press service of the UAF.
