CS-2024 indoor football. The Ukraine national team won against Belgium in the elite round of qualification for the second time.
The wards of Oleksandr Kosenko continued their elite round qualifying match for the 2024 FIFA futsal World Championship with a game against the Belgian team.

After four rounds, the Ukraine team held second place in Group B. Today in the Hungarian city of Berettyóújfalu, blue-and-yellow took on Belgium, who had no chance.
The Ukrainians immediately seized a significant advantage and quickly materialized it. On the 3rd minute, Korsun scored with a deflection off an opponent, later Pedyash took advantage of a goalkeeper's mistake and scored from a sharp angle. Later on, Korsun finished two more combinations by our team, while Shoturma dazzled the Belgians with a brilliant shot just before halftime.
At the start of the second half, the guests conducted several decent attacks but failed to score. Instead, Pedyash scored his brace on the 27th minute from a rebound. A moment later, the Belgians earned a penalty, but Sukhov saved El-Fakiri's shot.
Later, the teams exchanged goals by Syryi and Vadí. Near the end of the match, the Belgians regained initiative and scored another goal. But on the last minute of the encounter, Farhenyuk with a shot into an empty net set the final score at 8-2.
On November 20 in Łódź, our boys will face Poland (kick-off at 19:30 Kyiv time). To secure a direct ticket to the World Cup, Oleksandr Kosenko's wards need to win.

Twenty teams are divided into five groups of four teams each. Matches take place home and away. The five group winners will qualify for the CS-2024. Four best second-placed teams advance to the elite round play-offs.

Matches: April 8—17, 2024.
Four teams will be divided into two pairs and matches will take place home and away. The winners of the pairs will qualify for CS-2024.
The World Cup will take place in Uzbekistan from September 14 to October 6, 2024.
