To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6:00 on November 29, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The six hundred forty-fourth day of large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

The enemy continues to ignore laws and customs of warfare, uses tactics of terror, carries out missile and air strikes, conducts artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers not only on military but also on numerous civilian objects in our country.

During the past day, 87 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy carried out 14 missile and 80 air strikes, conducted 68 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers against positions of our troops and populated areas. The occupiers attacked Ukraine using 21 strike drones of Shahed-136/131 type yesterday. All enemy drones were destroyed. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civil infrastructure have been damaged.

Air strikes hit Ivanivka, Stepova-Novoselivka in Kharkiv region; Spirene, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk in Donetsk region; Zmiyivka, Berislav, Kozatske in Kherson region.

More than 100 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "North" on the Volynian and Polesian directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi directions the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening sectors, increases density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Khortytsia" on the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near Sinkyvka and Petro-Pavlivka in Kharkiv region, where our defenders repelled five attacks.

On the Lyman direction our soldiers repelled four attacks by occupiers around Terny in Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut direction the enemy carried out offensive actions in areas of Bogdanivka, Klyshchyvka, Andriyivka and North in Donetsk region. Here Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 attacks. In turn, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue offensive operations south of Bakhmut in Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, consolidating on gained positions.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Tavria" on the Avdiivka direction, the enemy does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold their defense, inflicting heavy losses on aggressors. Unsuccessful were offensive actions by the enemy south of Novokalynove, Stepovyi, Avdiivka, Tonenkyi and Pervomaisk in Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled 27 attacks.

On the Mariupol direction Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 enemy attacks in areas of Krasnogorivka, Mariinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsk direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions southwest of Staromajorskoe and Vodiane in Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhia direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions west of Verbovyi and Robotino in Zaporizhzhia region, where our defenders repelled nine attacks.

At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation on the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on occupation troops in manpower and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Odessa" on the Kherson direction, our defenders continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, continuing counter-battery fire and artillery strikes against enemy rear areas.

During the past day, aviation of the Armed Forces carried out 13 strikes in areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and three — on air defense missile systems of the enemy.

Subunits of rocket forces inflicted damage to a command post, five anti-aircraft defense means, nine artillery means, an ammunition depot and a radio-electronic warfare station of the enemy.
